Back to the garden

I was invited back to care for a garden I designed and installed 7 years ago with my former colleagues. It was nice to get back and tend this little paradise above the NYC streets. This garden has THE MOST phenomenal views of NYC. IMG_3402 IMG_3403 IMG_3404 The plants took a beating this winter and I had to replace the clematis and roses. We are trying this Perpetually Yours  from Heirloom Roses. http://www.heirloomroses.com/perpetually-yours.html IMG_3405 Two of the River Birch had to be replaced  with Japanese Willow. I hope these take off and fill the planter. IMG_3406 This year I mixed fragrant herbs with Coleus, Euphorbia, Sweet Potato Vine, Creeping Jenny and Sagina.
